· To create an all-inclusive baseball and recreational area that will serve people with mental and physical limitations.
· To invite community support and sponsorships to be involved in Beach Cities Miracle League with their monies and volunteer efforts.
· To facilitate and execute the construction of this facility that will meet the unique needs of Miracle League players and families.

WHO IS BEACH CITIES MIRACLE LEAGUE?

Beach Cities Miracle League is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing an opportunity for differently-abled children and adults to experience the joy of America’s favorite pastime. Since the main barriers for these players arise from the natural grass fields used in conventional leagues, Miracle League teams play on a custom-designed, rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and other assertive devices while helping to prevent injuries.

Being treated like other athletes.
Bringing families together and creating a community of like-minded people

To help these athletes, Miracle League uses a “buddy” system – pairing each player with an able-bodied peer. The result is a bond that cannot be described.

The Miracle League serves children and adults who suffer from any physical or mental disabilities, which causes them to be excluded, whether intentionally or not, from conventional Baseball and Basketball leagues.

THE MISSION OF MIRACLE LEAGUE

Provide opportunities for children with disabilities to play Miracle League baseball and basketball, regardless of their abilities.
Promote community support and sponsorship of Miracle Leagues.
Promote the construction of special adaptive facilities that meet the unique needs of Miracle League players and their families.

We cannot change or cure the medical issues life has dealt children with disabilities.
What we can do is provide them with an opportunity to experience the joy and benefits that come from playing our National Pastime–Baseball.
